Saanich Fusion FC

Saanich Fusion FC was one of 9 clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Saanich Fusion FC, 92 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Saanich Fusion FC could be found in Group 5 together with Bollstanäs SK 1, IK Zenith and Mjölby AI/FF. Saanich Fusion FC continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against DFF, Vasalunds with 0-3. In the Final, Bergdalens IK won over DFF, Vasalunds and became the winner of Slutspel A in Girls 14. Saanich Fusion FC comes from V8y-1M1 Victoria B.C which lies approximately 7500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
