Holmalunds IF

Holmalunds IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Holmalunds IF, 49 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Holmalunds IF could be found in Group 10 together with KFV Segeberg, Jitex BK and Boo FF 2. Holmalunds IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Bele Barkarby FF 2 with 0-2. In the Final, Bele Barkarby FF 2 won over Sävedalens IF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 12. Holmalunds comes from Alingsås which lies approximately 39 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Alingsås does also provide 37 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Lerums IS, Torslanda IK, Landvetter IF, Mölnlycke IF, Syria/Kamishly, Bergdalens IK, Utbynäs SK, Sävedalens IF, Brämhults IK and Tuve IF).
