Färila/Korskrogen

Färila/Korskrogen was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Färila/Korskrogen, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Färila/Korskrogen could be found in Group 8 together with TSV Abbehausen, Skene IF and Ambassadors F.C.. Färila/Korskrogen continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against RoPs with 0-1. In the Final, Staffanstorps GIF won over First Touch FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 15. Färila/Korskrogen comes from Färila which lies approximately 500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Färila/Korskrogen, the club Korskrogens IK does also originate from the area around Färila.
