Trollhättans BoIS

Trollhättans BoIS was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Trollhättans BoIS, 188 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Trollhättans BoIS could be found in Group 18 together with Eskilstuna City FK 2, Interesporte and F.C. Beirut 2. Trollhättans BoIS continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against IFK Eskilstuna with 1-5. In the Final, Paris F.C won over Cruzeiro EC and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 16. Trollhättans BoIS comes from Trollhättan which lies approximately 68 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trollhättan does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Ödsmåls IK, IFK Uddevalla, Herrestads AIF, Stenungsunds IF, IK Oddevold, Ljungskile SK, Lilla Edet/Göta BK, FC Trollhättan, IF Änglarna and Vänersborgs IF).
