Backatorp IF

Backatorp IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Backatorp IF, 111 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Backatorp IF could be found in Group 5 together with JSC Pitray-Olier Paris 1, Balltorps FF and FC Viktoria Heiden. Backatorp IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Guldhedens IK with 4-6. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Accademia Gaggiano and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 11. The area around does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Gamla Upsala SK, Skattkärrs IF, BK Häcken, Skepplanda BTK, Enebybergs IF, Örebro SK, Myckle IK, KF Prizren Spor and Hjuvik/Zenith).
