Blyth Town Lions

Blyth Town Lions was one of 31 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Blyth Town Lions, 110 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Blyth Town Lions could be found in Group 5 together with Gamla Upsala SK, Bele Barkarby FF and Myssjö/Ovikens IF. Blyth Town Lions continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Crossfire Premier SC 1 with 0-2. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna won over Gamla Upsala SK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Girls 15. Blyth Town Lions comes from NE64 6XW Newbiggin by the Sea which lies approximately 870 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
